Know Your Customer (KYC) & Identity Verification Policy

Last update: Mar 12, 2026

To maintain a secure marketplace and comply with global financial regulations, Seeit.co requires all creators to complete a mandatory identity verification process. This must be finalized before you can sell content or request a payout.

1. Verification Requirements

Identity verification for all creators worldwide is managed by Seeit Technology LLC through our verification partner Sumsub, regardless of which entity you contract with for other purposes. Your KYC data is processed and stored by Sumsub on behalf of Seeit Technology LLC.

You will be required to provide:

  • Government-Issued Photo ID: A high-resolution scan or photo of a valid, unexpired passport, national ID card, or driver's license.
  • Real-Time Biometric Verification: A "selfie" or liveness check, often holding your ID, to ensure the person behind the account matches the documentation provided.
  • Date of Birth Verification: We verify your date of birth as part of identity screening. Your date of birth is automatically cross-referenced against your ID.
  • Proof of Residency: For payout processing, we require a utility bill, bank statement, or bank letter dated within the last 3 months to verify your current address.
  • Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD): For high-volume creators, our compliance team may request additional documentation regarding the source of funds or further business verification.

2. The Verification Workflow

Submission: You upload your documents via our secure encrypted portal.

Review: Most applications are processed automatically within minutes. Manual reviews may take 24 to 48 hours.

Approval/Rejection: You will receive a notification of your status. If rejected, we will provide specific reasons (e.g., "ID expired" or "Image blurry") so you can retry.

3. Ongoing Monitoring & Re-Verification

To stay compliant, Seeit.co performs periodic audits:

  • Periodic Reviews: Merchant records are reviewed annually to ensure IDs haven't expired.
  • Behavioral Triggers: Significant changes in transaction patterns, login locations, or banking details may trigger a mandatory re-verification request to protect your account from takeover.
  • Data Privacy: All sensitive documents are processed by Seeit Technology LLC through Sumsub. We do not hold or store your KYC information directly — it is retained by Sumsub in accordance with their data retention policies.

4. Failure to Comply

Failure to complete the KYC process or providing fraudulent documentation will result in:

  • Immediate suspension of selling privileges.
  • Withholding of all pending payouts.
  • Permanent account termination if required.
